Built in the 1790's, Lake House Bed and Breakfast is surrounded by white clapboard houses, all of which are listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Enjoy the cry of the loons on Lake Keoka from the second floor porch. Savor the peacefulness of the surroundings while relaxing on the Waterford Village Common. Lake House has evolved from tavern to gracious inn, one that is also renowned for its restaurant. |
We offer five comfortable guest rooms, and two luxury suites in our Maine Bed and Breakfast. Our guest rooms have either king or queen beds, private baths, plush robes, TV, air-conditioning, and generous amenities. Enjoy The Grand Ballroom luxury suite or Waterford Flat luxury suite to make your stay memorable and decadent. Each suite offers a king or queen bed, whirlpool for 2, refrigerator, TV/DVD, separate shower and a gas log fireplace. The perfect place to "pop the question", to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, make memories on your honeymoon, or just relax and rekindle. Slip out to the first or second floor porch to relax, sip your favorite wine, and enjoy the country gardens or Village Green. Sumptuous country breakfasts are prepared by your hosts each morning.
