Lake House, a Bed and Breakfast Inn with a full service restaurant can host your small, romantic Maine wedding, elopement ceremony, renewal of marriage vows, commitment ceremony, or rehearsal dinner. The stately circa 1797 Greek Revival is well positioned among other fine examples of eighteenth century architecture around the village green that together defines the quaintness and serenity that only a small New England town can offer. We can provide you with a pleasing and memorable setting that will live up to all the expectations you have for your special day. The manicured lawns, beautiful gardens, well appointed common rooms, restaurant and comfortable guest rooms make Lake House the perfect setting for small, intimate, private, relaxing ceremonies accommodating up to 40 people. Larger weddings 40-100 must be held in a white wedding tent erected on the lawns in the summer months.

The entire Inn can be occupied by your closest friends and relatives so an intimate setting prevails. Ceremonies can be performed in the sitting room in front of the warm fire, in the Grand Ballroom Suite, in a white wedding tent outdoors, in any one of the local churches, on the mountain or in a meadow. Whatever location you choose, Lake House can provide your reception and wedding dinner in the private dining rooms for events with less than 40, or outside in a white wedding tent for events with 40 to 100 guests.
